monday.com Apps

Boost Your monday.com Workflow

Three live apps on the monday.com marketplace — BoardCast for messaging, SheetEmbed for spreadsheets, and DocEmbed for documents.

Why MarketForge

Why teams choose MarketForge for monday.com

monday.com is where work happens — but the work itself often lives somewhere else. Budgets in Google Sheets. Briefs in Google Docs. Customer conversations in WhatsApp. Every context switch breaks focus, slows decisions, and leaves stale information scattered across tabs.

That's the gap MarketForge fills. We build native marketplace apps that pull the tools your team already uses directly inside monday.com — so the data, documents, and conversations live next to the tasks they relate to. No copy-paste. No tab juggling. No "let me check the sheet."

Every app is purpose-built for a specific workflow: messaging (BoardCast), spreadsheets (SheetEmbed), and documents (DocEmbed). Each one installs in one click from the official monday.com marketplace, works with any board or dashboard, and respects your existing permissions. We don't bolt on features your team doesn't need — we ship focused tools that do one thing exceptionally well.

The free tier lets you try every app on a real workspace before you pay anything. Paid plans start where teams typically hit the limits of the free tier, not before. And because every app is listed on the marketplace, you get the security, billing, and support guarantees monday.com requires of all approved partners.

If you've ever needed a monday.com integration that didn't exist, we also build custom apps on request — same architecture, same approval path, tailored to your workflow.

BoardCast

BoardCast: WhatsApp & Telegram messaging from inside monday.com

If your team coordinates with customers, vendors, or partners on WhatsApp or Telegram, you already know the workflow: switch to WhatsApp Web, find the right contact, copy a quote from monday.com, paste it in, send. Then back to monday.com to log what you said. Then back again when they reply. Every cycle costs minutes — and the context that started in monday.com gets lost in a separate tool.

BoardCast collapses that loop. Once you connect your WhatsApp or Telegram account, you can send messages directly from any monday.com item. The recipient is pulled from the item's phone column. The message draft lives in monday.com. The conversation history stays attached to the board — so the next teammate who picks up the item sees what was already said.

Three workflows BoardCast handles well

  • Outbound sales. SDRs working a pipeline board can send personalized intros from each lead's row without leaving monday.com. Replies come back into the same workspace as updates, so the deal stage and the conversation move together.
  • Order confirmations and logistics. Operations teams send shipping updates, delivery confirmations, or status changes triggered by status-column changes — fewer tabs, fewer dropped balls.
  • Internal alerts to mobile-first teams. Field technicians, retail staff, or contractors who don't live in monday.com still get notified on the channel they actually check.

BoardCast supports both WhatsApp and Telegram on the same workspace, and message history is stored in monday.com's update stream, so there's no separate inbox to manage.

SheetEmbed

SheetEmbed: Live Google Sheets inside any monday.com board

Spreadsheets and project boards are two halves of how teams think — boards for tasks, spreadsheets for numbers. Linking them usually means screenshots, exports, or a "see the sheet here" link buried in an update. None of that gives you the live state of the data when you need it.

SheetEmbed embeds the actual Google Sheet — fully editable, in real time — inside a monday.com board or dashboard. The cells you see are the cells your finance team is editing right now. Edits sync in seconds in both directions. There's no separate copy, no export to keep in sync, and no permission to re-grant; SheetEmbed uses your existing Google Drive access.

Three workflows SheetEmbed unlocks

  • Budget tracking against project tasks. Engineering or marketing teams running a board for sprints or campaigns can drop in the live budget sheet — actuals, burn rate, and remaining runway visible without leaving the board.
  • KPI dashboards next to weekly stand-ups. Operations and revops teams build a single monday.com dashboard with both the activity board and the KPI sheet side by side. The numbers update on their own; the stand-up agenda follows the board.
  • Client-facing reporting workspaces. Agencies and consultants share a single monday.com workspace with clients that includes the project board AND the live performance sheet. One link, two views, always current.

Setup is paste-a-URL — no API keys, no OAuth gymnastics. Unlimited embeds per board or dashboard.

DocEmbed

DocEmbed: Live Google Docs alongside the work they describe

Project briefs, PRDs, meeting notes, customer-facing proposals — the documents your team writes belong with the tasks they describe. But the standard pattern is a Google Doc link tucked into an update or a description field, requiring a click and a context switch to read.

DocEmbed surfaces the actual document inline. Inside any monday.com item, board, or dashboard, you can embed a Google Doc and see the live content as you scroll through the workflow. Every keystroke your collaborators type syncs in real time, and Drive permissions are respected natively — if someone can't see the Doc in Google, they can't see it through monday.com either.

Three workflows DocEmbed is built for

  • Spec-driven engineering boards. Product and engineering teams can attach the PRD or RFC directly to the parent monday.com item — implementers see the live spec without bouncing to Drive. Changes the PM makes show up immediately.
  • Sales playbooks tied to deal stages. Each stage in a deal board can have a corresponding Doc — talk track, objection handling, customer-success handoff. Reps stay in monday.com, read the right Doc for the stage they're in.
  • Customer-success runbooks. Onboarding boards can embed the per-customer onboarding doc, so the CSM sees the agreed milestones and the live notes in one screen.

DocEmbed handles unlimited embeds across items, boards, and dashboards. Setup is paste-a-URL.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are MarketForge monday.com apps free?

All three apps offer a free tier you can install and use immediately from the marketplace. Paid plans unlock higher usage limits and team-wide management features — pricing and tiers are listed on each app's marketplace page. The free tier is genuinely usable, not a trial.

Can I install all three apps on the same workspace?

Yes. BoardCast, SheetEmbed, and DocEmbed are independent apps and can run side by side on the same monday.com workspace. They share no settings, so installing one has no effect on another.

What permissions do the apps need?

SheetEmbed and DocEmbed authenticate against your Google account using Google's standard OAuth flow — they request read/write access only to the files you choose to embed, and they respect Drive permissions natively. BoardCast requires authentication with your WhatsApp Business or Telegram account; monday.com never sees your message contents outside the items you choose to send from.

Do you offer custom monday.com app development?

Yes. If you need an integration that doesn't exist on the marketplace, we'll build it. Custom apps go through the same monday.com partner approval process as our public apps, so you get the same security, billing, and review guarantees. Contact us to discuss scope.

How do I install MarketForge apps on monday.com?

Click the "View on Marketplace" button on any app above, then click Install on the monday.com listing page. The app appears in your account immediately and can be added to any board or dashboard from the apps panel. No CLI, no dev mode, no separate billing — installation and billing are handled through monday.com directly.
