Does Crisp Connector include a Crisp account?
No. It connects a Wix site to a Crisp workspace you already control.
Can MarketForge read my visitor conversations?
The connector code does not receive or store chat content. Crisp operates the chat service and processes chat data under the merchant’s Crisp configuration and Crisp policies.
Do I need to paste code into Wix?
No. Enter the Website ID and configure the widget through the app dashboard.

Crisp Connector Privacy Policy
Crisp Connector passes the merchant’s Crisp Website ID to the Crisp SDK so Crisp can run chat on the site. MarketForge’s connector does not receive or store the content of visitor conversations.

1. Scope and who is responsible
This notice describes the data practices of the Crisp Connector app for Wix. MarketForge is the app provider and is responsible for the app data it controls. Wix, the Wix site owner, and the service providers listed below may separately control or process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
This notice covers the app itself. Visiting MarketForge.tech is also subject to the MarketForge website privacy policy. The app is governed by our Terms of Service.
2. Merchant information we access or store
Information supplied by or associated with the Wix site owner who installs and configures the app.
Crisp connection and display settings
The Crisp Website ID, greeting text, theme color, and position are stored with the Wix app embed and may also be held in a browser-local setup draft.
Onboarding state
Onboarding timestamps, checklist progress, whether the merchant already has Crisp, and the selected chat goal may be stored in the merchant browser.
Product-improvement events
Wix Business Intelligence may receive event names that describe onboarding steps, selected goals, and checklist actions. These events do not contain visitor chat messages.
3. Site-visitor information
Information processed when the app appears on, or is used from, a merchant's live Wix site.
Crisp chat data
Crisp may process messages, identifiers, cookies, and connection information when its widget runs. The merchant controls the chat relationship; Crisp operates the service. MarketForge’s connector code does not read or store that chat content.
4. Why we process information
Provide the app
Configure and operate the feature requested by the merchant, maintain plan access, and deliver support. This is necessary to perform our agreement with the merchant.
Keep the product working
Diagnose errors, protect the service, prevent abuse, and preserve reliability. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a safe, dependable product.
Improve setup and performance
Understand onboarding and app-level outcomes where the app-specific disclosures above describe analytics. We limit this to what is reasonably needed for product improvement.
Meet legal obligations
Respond to valid legal requests, enforce our terms, and keep records when applicable law requires it.
The Wix site owner is responsible for choosing an appropriate legal basis, displaying required notices, and collecting any consent required for the app's use on their site. MarketForge does not use app visitor data for unrelated advertising or sell personal information.
5. Service providers and disclosures
The app shares or makes information available only as needed to provide the functions described here, comply with law, or protect the service.
App hosting, configuration, app-instance information, and onboarding events.
Providing the chat widget, message delivery, and Crisp workspace features.
Providers may process information in countries other than the visitor's or merchant's home country. Their privacy notices describe the safeguards and rights that apply to information they control.
6. Storage and retention
- Connector settings remain in the Wix app configuration until they are changed or removed.
- Browser-local setup and onboarding state do not currently have an automatic expiry and can be removed by clearing browser site data.
- Crisp controls retention of chat data under the merchant’s Crisp plan, settings, and agreement with Crisp.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including platform access controls and encrypted transport where supported. No internet or storage system is completely secure. App settings placed in the Wix live-site embed are required by the public widget and must not be used to store secrets.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
- Merchants can change or remove the Crisp Website ID, disable the widget, or remove the app.
- Visitor requests concerning chat messages or Crisp identifiers should be directed first to the Wix site owner, who controls the Crisp workspace.
- Verified requests about MarketForge-controlled connector data can be sent to support@marketforge.tech.
Depending on location, an individual may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify the requester and the relevant Wix site before acting. A complaint may also be made to the appropriate data-protection authority.
Changes and age limits
We will update the date above when this notice changes. If a change materially affects app data practices, we will provide notice through an appropriate channel, such as the app dashboard, Wix listing, or email when available. The app is intended for business websites and is not directed to children under 16.
