Who operates the app
Label & Badge Studio is operated by MarketForge in Israel. Privacy questions can be sent to support@marketforge.tech.
Data the app processes
The app processes only the Wix site data needed to evaluate and manage native product ribbons:
- Product identifiers, catalog version, price and sale signals, inventory status, creation dates, catalog revisions, and current ribbon values.
- Merchant-created rule settings, including ribbon text, rule priority, enabled state, low-stock threshold, and new-product time window.
- Operational queue and ownership records: product identifiers, event identifiers, timestamps, the ribbon applied by the app, and the previous merchant ribbon needed for safe restoration.
- Authenticated Wix dashboard identity context used to restrict dashboard actions to authorized Wix users or the app.
The app does not request or process Wix Stores orders in the launch version. It does not create a shopper, contact, payment, or marketing database. Although Wix may expose basic site, business, and owner-email context as part of app installation and lifecycle delivery, Label & Badge Studio does not copy that contact information into its app collections.
Where data is stored
Rule, queue, and restoration records are stored in app-scoped Wix Data collections on the merchant’s Wix site. MarketForge does not maintain a separate production database for this app. Wix provides hosting, authentication, API delivery, and storage under the merchant’s Wix account and Wix’s own terms and privacy practices.
Why data is processed
- To test supported rules against the merchant’s products.
- To apply or restore native Wix product ribbons safely.
- To retry bounded work after an event or API failure without silently losing it.
- To show setup status and catalog-scan results in the Wix dashboard.
- To protect the app’s dashboard mutation endpoints from unauthorized callers.
Sharing and sale
MarketForge does not sell personal data. The app does not send merchant or shopper data to advertising networks, data brokers, or independent analytics providers. Data is processed through Wix services required to run the app.
Retention and deletion
App records remain on the Wix site while needed to operate rules, retry queued work, and restore prior ribbons. Merchants can delete individual rules in the dashboard, uninstall the app, or request help with app-controlled data through the process described in the data deletion guide. MarketForge does not create or retain a separate production copy outside your Wix site. Wix-hosted records follow Wix's app and data lifecycle; contact us if you need deletion assistance.
Security
The app uses Wix-authenticated requests, tenant-scoped Wix APIs, restricted collection permissions, HTTPS transport, and minimal logging. Lifecycle logs omit site and instance identifiers. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed to be completely secure, but we limit the data footprint and access paths to those required for the app.
International use and rights
Merchants may contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of app-controlled data. Because the records live in the merchant’s Wix site, we may ask for the app name and Wix site details needed to verify the request. Merchants are responsible for their own legal basis and notices for store data they control.
Changes
We may update this policy when the app or applicable requirements change. The date above will be updated when material changes are published.
