Can I install Restaurant Margin Copilot from the Wix App Market?
Yes. Use the official Wix App Market link on this page to install the free V1.
Does the app change my Wix menu price?
No. V1 is read-only for Wix Restaurants and Wix orders. It shows a transparent scenario and never creates, edits, or deletes a Wix menu item, variant, order, or price.
How much costing data can I save?
V1 saves one primary-ingredient costing scenario per installed Wix site. Saving again replaces that one record after an authoritative reread confirms the new values.
Does the app store customer or order data?
No. Recent orders are read to calculate exact-item aggregates in the dashboard. The app does not persist order payloads, customer names, emails, addresses, payment details, or free-text shopper content.
What happens on a copied Wix site?
The app compares the authenticated Wix installation with the record that was saved. An inherited record from the source installation is not activated on the copy; the new site must save its own scenario.

Restaurant Margin Copilot Privacy Policy
Restaurant Margin Copilot reads current Wix Restaurants prices and recent Wix order aggregates to calculate a merchant-requested margin scenario. It stores one site-scoped record containing merchant-entered costing inputs and stable Wix catalog references. It does not store shopper or order payloads, does not create visitor tracking, and does not change a Wix menu price.

1. Scope and who is responsible
This notice describes the data practices of the Restaurant Margin Copilot app for Wix. MarketForge is the app provider and is responsible for the app data it controls. Wix, the Wix site owner, and the service providers listed below may separately control or process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
This notice covers the app itself. Visiting MarketForge.tech is also subject to the MarketForge website privacy policy. Use of the app is governed by its app-specific Terms and Conditions, which supplement our general Terms of Service.
2. Merchant information we access or store
Information supplied by or associated with the Wix site owner who installs and configures the app.
Authenticated app installation
The current Wix app-instance ID and, when Wix supplies it, the origin app-instance ID are used for tenant isolation and copied-site detection. The app does not request or persist the site owner’s name, login email, business contact details, or address.
One costing scenario
The app stores one ingredient name; package quantity, unit, and price; recipe quantity and unit; yield; waste percentage; target-margin percentage; and currency for the installed Wix site.
Stable Wix references and revision
The selected menu item ID, optional exact variant ID, selection ID, and observed menu revision are stored so the app can restore the same Wix identity and warn when the live item changes.
Verification metadata
A schema version, write token, confirmation timestamp, and update timestamp support duplicate-write protection and authoritative save or deletion checks.
3. Site-visitor information
Information processed when the app appears on, or is used from, a merchant's live Wix site.
No visitor-facing component or tracking
V1 runs only in the Wix site dashboard. It creates no shopper cookie, local-storage identifier, advertising identifier, session replay, or third-party visitor analytics stream.
No stored order or shopper records
Approved orders are read at request time to produce exact-item counts and monetary aggregates. Order payloads, order IDs, customer details, addresses, payment data, and shopper text are not written to the app-owned collection.
4. Why we process information
Provide the app
Configure and operate the feature requested by the merchant, maintain authorized app access, and deliver support. This is necessary to perform our agreement with the merchant.
Keep the product working
Diagnose errors, protect the service, prevent abuse, and preserve reliability. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a safe, dependable product.
Improve setup and performance
Understand onboarding and app-level outcomes where the app-specific disclosures above describe analytics. We limit this to what is reasonably needed for product improvement.
Meet legal obligations
Respond to valid legal requests, enforce our terms, and keep records when applicable law requires it.
The Wix site owner is responsible for choosing an appropriate legal basis, displaying required notices, and collecting any consent required for the app's use on their site. MarketForge does not use app visitor data for unrelated advertising or sell personal information.
5. Service providers and disclosures
The app shares or makes information available only as needed to provide the functions described here, comply with law, or protect the service.
App hosting and authentication, Wix Restaurants catalog reads, Wix eCommerce order reads, and privileged app-owned Wix Data storage.
Providers may process information in countries other than the visitor's or merchant's home country. Their privacy notices describe the safeguards and rights that apply to information they control.
6. Storage and retention
- The single costing record remains in the installed site’s app-owned Wix storage until it is replaced, deleted by the merchant, removed through the Wix app lifecycle, or handled through a verified privacy request.
- The in-app two-step deletion action removes the record and requires an authoritative reread to confirm that it is absent before the dashboard reports success.
- A copied site never activates an inherited source-installation record. The copied installation must save a fresh site-scoped scenario.
- Restaurant menu and order responses are used in memory for the current dashboard read and are not persisted as a second catalog or order database.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including platform access controls and encrypted transport where supported. No internet or storage system is completely secure. Where an app uses settings in a Wix live-site embed, those settings are visible to the public widget and must not contain secrets.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
- Merchants can replace the one saved scenario, permanently delete it from the dashboard, or uninstall the app through Wix.
- Removing or changing a Wix menu item does not cause the app to write back to Wix; the app instead asks the merchant to review stale or missing source data.
- Verified access, correction, deletion, objection, or privacy requests can be sent to support@marketforge.tech with the app name and relevant Wix site.
Depending on location, an individual may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify the requester and the relevant Wix site before acting. A complaint may also be made to the appropriate data-protection authority.
Changes and age limits
We will update the date above when this notice changes. If a change materially affects app data practices, we will provide notice through an appropriate channel, such as the app dashboard, Wix listing, or email when available. The app is intended for business websites and is not directed to children under 16.

1. Service and eligibility
Restaurant Margin Copilotis a business tool for Wix websites. You must control or be authorized to manage the Wix site where it is installed and must use the app in compliance with applicable law, Wix's terms, and these terms.
The current product scope is the scope described on this page. Features that are labelled beta, pre-release, planned, configured, or subject to verification are not promised as generally available.
2. Your responsibilities
- Keep your Wix account secure and give app access only to authorized people.
- Review the app's configuration, output, and storefront behavior before and after publishing.
- Maintain lawful rights to the site content, catalog data, destinations, messages, or third-party account details you configure.
- Provide visitors with any notices, consent choices, and request channels required for your use of the app.
- Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, bypass access or plan controls, or use it to violate another person's rights.
3. Wix platform and third-party services
Wix is a separate platform provider. Wix controls Wix accounts, hosting, the App Market, platform APIs, site plans, and platform availability under its own terms. MarketForge provides and supports Restaurant Margin Copilot; Wix does not provide MarketForge support.
The app may depend on Wix products or the third-party services identified in the Restaurant Margin Copilot Privacy Policy. Changes, outages, restrictions, or discontinued functions in those services can affect the app. MarketForge does not control those services.
4. Plans, billing, cancellation, and refunds
Current plan options, prices, billing periods, trials, and promotions are the options shown in Wix when you install or manage the app. If you choose a paid plan, Wix or the Wix App Market processes the transaction and applies the billing terms shown at checkout.
Manage plan changes or cancellation through Wix. Refunds and credits are subject to the Wix or App Market process and applicable law. Contact MarketForge if app-specific information is needed to review a request; nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.
5. Availability and no performance guarantee
MarketForge uses reasonable care to operate the app, but does not promise uninterrupted, error-free, instantaneous, or permanently available service. Results can depend on Wix, third-party providers, site configuration, data supplied to the app, browser behavior, and network conditions.
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without a guarantee of revenue, conversion, search ranking, traffic, delivery timing, customer response, or any other specific business outcome.
6. Changes, suspension, and ending use
We may update the app or these terms to improve the service, address security or legal needs, or respond to platform changes. We will update the date above and use an appropriate notice channel for a material change when reasonably available.
You can stop using the app and uninstall it through Wix. MarketForge may restrict or suspend access for abuse, security risk, non-payment of an applicable plan, legal requirements, or a material breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue after use ends—including payment obligations already incurred, ownership, disclaimers, and legal limits—continue to apply.
