Before you install
Can I install Site Search Pro from the Wix App Market today?
Not yet. Site Search Pro is a pre-release app and has no public App Market listing. This page will link to Wix only after the listing is published.
What does Site Search Pro search?
The current release candidate searches indexed Wix Stores products. It does not search arbitrary site pages. Published Blog title and excerpt search is configured as a Pro feature but will not be advertised as available until the paid runtime path passes live verification.
How does typo matching work?
Search prioritizes exact and prefix matches. For query words with at least four characters, it can also rank close misspellings. Every word in a multi-word query must match somewhere in the indexed product data.
How current are the results?
Supported Wix product events refresh changed rows after Wix delivers them. The dashboard also provides a resumable re-sync for repairs and larger catalog updates. The app does not promise instant or perfectly simultaneous updates.
What happens if a catalog sync is interrupted?
Open the dashboard and resume it. The app stores sync progress and continues in bounded steps instead of requiring one long-running request.
Is product search limited by a MarketForge query quota?
No. The planned free product-search experience has no MarketForge-imposed query quota. Wix platform and site-plan limits still apply.

Site Search Pro Privacy Policy
Site Search Pro builds a locked Wix Data index on the merchant’s Wix site so storefront visitors can search the merchant’s catalog. The current release candidate processes visitor queries and, for verified Pro use, can store normalized query terms and aggregate result counts for merchant-facing analytics. It also sends app-level operational events to PostHog without the search text.

1. Scope and who is responsible
This notice describes the data practices of the Site Search Pro app for Wix. MarketForge is the app provider and is responsible for the app data it controls. Wix, the Wix site owner, and the service providers listed below may separately control or process information under their own terms and privacy notices.
This notice covers the app itself. Visiting MarketForge.tech is also subject to the MarketForge website privacy policy. Use of the app is governed by its app-specific Terms and Conditions, which supplement our general Terms of Service.
2. Merchant information we access or store
Information supplied by or associated with the Wix site owner who installs and configures the app.
Catalog search index
The app stores indexed Wix product titles, search keywords, product IDs, URLs, and, when Wix supplies them, image and price display values. If verified Pro Blog search is enabled, the same index can include published Blog titles and excerpts.
Sync status and identifiers
The app stores catalog version, sync phase, counts, cursors, timestamps, run and lease identifiers, and the Wix app-instance identity needed to authorize and resume work for the correct installation.
Merchant-created synonym groups
If the verified Pro feature is enabled, synonym terms entered by the merchant are stored in a locked app collection on the merchant’s Wix site.
Dashboard and onboarding events
PostHog may receive the app-instance identifier, plan state, onboarding step, sync count, upgrade action, and plan-package name. Browser-local storage also holds onboarding and review-prompt state for the app instance.
3. Site-visitor information
Information processed when the app appears on, or is used from, a merchant's live Wix site.
Storefront search query
The query typed into the Search Box is sent to the app backend so matching indexed products can be returned. Queries require at least two characters.
Pro query analytics
For an installation whose paid entitlement is verified, the app can store a lowercased, trimmed query term of up to 100 characters with search count, zero-result count, and last-searched time. Obvious email addresses, URLs, and terms containing eight or more digits are rejected, but visitors should still avoid entering personal or confidential information into search.
Operational search events
PostHog may receive an app-instance identifier, result count, plan state, and whether a search returned no results. The event payload does not include the visitor’s search text.
4. Why we process information
Provide the app
Configure and operate the feature requested by the merchant, maintain authorized app access, and deliver support. This is necessary to perform our agreement with the merchant.
Keep the product working
Diagnose errors, protect the service, prevent abuse, and preserve reliability. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating a safe, dependable product.
Improve setup and performance
Understand onboarding and app-level outcomes where the app-specific disclosures above describe analytics. We limit this to what is reasonably needed for product improvement.
Meet legal obligations
Respond to valid legal requests, enforce our terms, and keep records when applicable law requires it.
The Wix site owner is responsible for choosing an appropriate legal basis, displaying required notices, and collecting any consent required for the app's use on their site. MarketForge does not use app visitor data for unrelated advertising or sell personal information.
5. Service providers and disclosures
The app shares or makes information available only as needed to provide the functions described here, comply with law, or protect the service.
App hosting, Wix Stores catalog access, app-instance and billing status, locked Wix Data collections, dashboard authentication, and storefront delivery.
Best-effort app-level onboarding, activation, search-outcome, and plan events used to operate and improve Site Search Pro. Search text is not included in these event payloads.
Providers may process information in countries other than the visitor's or merchant's home country. Their privacy notices describe the safeguards and rights that apply to information they control.
6. Storage and retention
- The current release candidate does not apply an automatic deletion schedule to the search index, sync state, synonym groups, or stored Pro query statistics.
- Index rows are refreshed or removed by supported Wix events and full re-syncs after Wix delivers the relevant catalog state; no timing guarantee is made.
- Browser-local onboarding and review-prompt state remains until browser site data is cleared.
- Uninstalling removes the app’s access but does not by itself promise deletion of the underlying app-owned Wix Data collections. Verified deletion assistance is available from MarketForge.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including platform access controls and encrypted transport where supported. No internet or storage system is completely secure. Where an app uses settings in a Wix live-site embed, those settings are visible to the public widget and must not contain secrets.
7. Your choices and privacy rights
- Authorized merchants can run or resume a catalog re-sync, manage any verified Pro synonym groups, remove the Search Box, or uninstall the app.
- Merchants can clear browser site data to remove browser-local onboarding and review-prompt state.
- Site visitors should direct search-data requests first to the Wix site owner. Verified access, correction, or deletion assistance is available at support@marketforge.tech.
Depending on location, an individual may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. We may need to verify the requester and the relevant Wix site before acting. A complaint may also be made to the appropriate data-protection authority.
Changes and age limits
We will update the date above when this notice changes. If a change materially affects app data practices, we will provide notice through an appropriate channel, such as the app dashboard, Wix listing, or email when available. The app is intended for business websites and is not directed to children under 16.

1. Service and eligibility
Site Search Prois a business tool for Wix websites. You must control or be authorized to manage the Wix site where it is installed and must use the app in compliance with applicable law, Wix's terms, and these terms.
The current product scope is the scope described on this page. Features that are labelled beta, pre-release, planned, configured, or subject to verification are not promised as generally available.
Site Search Pro has no public Wix App Market installation path today. Any controlled beta access may be changed, limited, suspended, or ended while the app is tested. This page is not an offer of a public paid subscription.
2. Your responsibilities
- Keep your Wix account secure and give app access only to authorized people.
- Review the app's configuration, output, and storefront behavior before and after publishing.
- Maintain lawful rights to the site content, catalog data, destinations, messages, or third-party account details you configure.
- Provide visitors with any notices, consent choices, and request channels required for your use of the app.
- Do not misuse the app, interfere with its operation, bypass access or plan controls, or use it to violate another person's rights.
3. Wix platform and third-party services
Wix is a separate platform provider. Wix controls Wix accounts, hosting, the App Market, platform APIs, site plans, and platform availability under its own terms. MarketForge provides and supports Site Search Pro; Wix does not provide MarketForge support.
The app may depend on Wix products or the third-party services identified in the Site Search Pro Privacy Policy. Changes, outages, restrictions, or discontinued functions in those services can affect the app. MarketForge does not control those services.
4. Plans, billing, cancellation, and refunds
No public MarketForge subscription or checkout is offered for Site Search Pro while it is pre-release. A paid obligation will begin only if Wix presents a price and plan terms and you affirmatively select that plan through Wix.
If paid plans are later offered, billing, renewal, plan changes, and cancellation will be handled through Wix or the Wix App Market. Refunds and credits will be subject to the Wix or App Market process and applicable law. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.
5. Availability and no performance guarantee
MarketForge uses reasonable care to operate the app, but does not promise uninterrupted, error-free, instantaneous, or permanently available service. Results can depend on Wix, third-party providers, site configuration, data supplied to the app, browser behavior, and network conditions.
To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided as available without a guarantee of revenue, conversion, search ranking, traffic, delivery timing, customer response, or any other specific business outcome.
6. Changes, suspension, and ending use
We may update the app or these terms to improve the service, address security or legal needs, or respond to platform changes. We will update the date above and use an appropriate notice channel for a material change when reasonably available.
You can stop using the app and uninstall it through Wix. MarketForge may restrict or suspend access for abuse, security risk, non-payment of an applicable plan, legal requirements, or a material breach of these terms. Sections that by their nature should continue after use ends—including payment obligations already incurred, ownership, disclaimers, and legal limits—continue to apply.
